Afrihill Press Unveils First Print Title with Qudus Olowo’s Chapbook A Black Bird Sings About Loss
The Nigerian poet, editor, rapper, singer, and songwriter, Qudus Olowo, also known as Blacc, in conjunction with Afrihill Press, is set to launch his poetry chapbook A Black Bird Sings About Loss on April 11, 2026, at the National Library of Nigeria (Lagos Branch).
This chapbook marks Afrihill Press’s first print publication since its announcement last year, when the independent publishing house made public its transition from digital publishing to print.
A Black Bird Sings About Loss is not only a significant milestone for Qudus Olowo but also a defining moment for Afrihill Press, as it becomes the press’s debut print title.
